We now have a website. http://hgdcproductions.webs.com/ THE FOLLOWING IS... IGNORE IT, I JUST NEEDED SOMEWHERE TO PUT IT. We are actually not YouTube-based. We share our videos on YouTube, but our ultimate goal is to be known as an independent film company, rather than "that one YouTube channel".

We've filmed for seven hours so far... and we're just about half way through. Almost half way through.

The Email that Might Never be Sent

Back about a month or two ago, I wrote an email to the parents of the extras for our film... I'm kinda laughing about it right now, because I'm not sure it will ever be sent. I'm not even sure why I find this amusing. We film very soon!

Day 1

Today we began filming for 'SCATTERED DREAMS'. It looks GREAT so far! Looking forward to filming more soon!

New Idea

Yesterday Alice and I planned a little for our next film. More info on it later, but... it's gonna be good, too! And 'SCATTERED DREAMS' films in about a week. :)

Update

An update on what's up with HGDC Productions recently: Our cast and crew is set for 'SCATTERED DREAMS' and filming will take place soon! That's just about it, really. Be looking forward to the new film, and watch our older ones if you haven't already. :)

How's It Going? AWESOME.

'SCATTERED DREAMS' is going great. The final draft is out, all we have to do is finalize film production dates, find a few more extras, and then the cast has to prepare for the actual filming. Really excited... That's why we haven't been posting often, cause we're so busy with finalizing stuff and other orders of business... Our film should be out by 2013. SO BE EXCITED.

Working on the crew list for 'SCATTERED DREAMS'... Is it sad that I had to use Wikipedia to find names of the crew parts? I know what each person does, but I don't know what the roles are called... Apparently I'm a producer. *fact that I should know, but doesn't*

'SCATTERED DREAMS' Script Finished!

I just typed up the rough draft for 'SCATTERED DREAMS' and I'll be sending it to all of HGDC soon... :)

New Film

Elle, Michelle, Alice, and I just had a long meeting over what our next big film will be. We have an AMAZING idea that will include new introductions to our cast! We'll be tying up the script soon, and because it'll take a while to produce, it won't be out for a while... But it's sooooo going to be worth the while!

'LIGHTS OUT' Editing Complete!

All right HGDC peeps, I'm finally done editing 'LIGHTS OUT'!! It'll be up this weekend, hopefully. We're having two VERY exciting projects coming up soon, so we'll be announcing them sometime. ;)

Okay, I know all of you guys are waiting for 'LIGHTS OUT'... here's the deal: I'm done editing the actual film part, I just need to do the fun stuff at the end. That shouldn't take that long, but still, I'm crazy busy with school it's not even funny, but it should be better next week, so... it should be out soon, though.

Celebrity Sunday!

So, as you guys know, for some reason, we have strangely had celebrity successes on... Sundays! I haven't really checked this with the rest of you guys, but... I'm thinking that we should reach out to celebrities on Sunday and expand the... the... knowledge... and awareness... of HGDC Productions! So, yeah, you guys can use the HGDCProductions account on Twitter or any other way. Just remember--Celebrity Sundays, try to get us noticed! Even a little reply from SOMEONE is great!

'LIGHTS OUT' Update!!

Last night I finished editing 'LIGHTS OUT'. Now I only need to make some *minor* changes to the music (which really gives me the creeps) and edit the ending stuff... The little surprises at the end that we filmed. :)

So... as you should all know, HGDC Productions has our own Twitter account. That means that... well, I don't know what that means... OH YEAH! That means that we can connect to celebrities!! I tweeted Taylor Groothuis, who is working with Dan Schneider on a new Nickelodeon show, and she replied/followed us!! We are now being followed by the most inspiring little actress ever!!

PS-those of HGDC Productions, it's our goal to get noticed by celebrities, so... each of you try to get HGDC's name noticed by one! Alice has gotten hers (Max/Victoria) and I've gotten mine (Taylor). So get out there and advertise big-time!!

*MAJOR excitement going on here *

So, guys, Annasophie here, and I'm getting well into editing 'LIGHTS OUT', our upcoming horror short film.
And... I worked for about thirty minutes before I got fed up with the program crashing on me, so... hope it's better by tomorrow.
But it's turning out pretty good, and... be prepared.
It's gonna be AWESOME.

And a little insider's look on another upcoming film (cause you guys are the awesome people you are)... It's gonna be a love story. *gasp!* Alice and I were just talking about it: here at HGDC, we've had a touching film ('27 LETTERS'), an inspiring film ('I AM...'), there'll be a horror film ('LIGHTS OUT!'), and now... a love film! Except it's going to be a little different... And, honestly, it may take a while for it to get out, cause there may be some complications in getting the cast together... But it's definitely a project we would like to do.
So, yeah. :)

'Lights Out'

We had a WHOLE lot of fun filming 'Lights Out' last night. It was awesome, and Michelle got really scared. :)
But it should be out sometime, and... hope you enjoy. :)

New Project!!

There's a new project coming up that we're about to announce... super excited!!
Actually, there's one new short film and another of something else. :) We're still working out the kink in the 'something else', so... the news should be out soon!
And be looking forward to watching the new short film. It's gonna be good. :}

'I Am...'--Production so Far!!

The Production of 'I Am...' is going GREAT. I finished editing it today, and I'll try to get it up on YouTube tomorrow. :)

'I Am...' Production (So Far...)

The production 'I Am...' is going pretty good! I edited most of it, but Elizabeth and I had to re-shoot some of it, because the camera was on the wrong setting. No big deal, though.
It should be ready soon! :)

'I Am...'--New Short Film!

Yesterday, Enisula, Elizabeth, and I filmed a short film about... well, you'll have to wait to find out.
I'm going to do some editing today, and hopefully the film will be up soon. We had a great time making it, although it was somewhat hard... walls aren't very sticky.
Elizabeth, who is actually my cousin, will be posting on this blog as well, because she is officially part of HGDC Productions.
Another thing--the 'department' for this film is... "Water Ninja Department". There's a reason. There is.

27 Letters finished!

That was great! The music and facial expressions make it turned out to be a good film!! I tried to show my brother and I asked it what did he thought it ment...... and he said, "ooooo! They're sisters!" ?! I had to explain to him what happened. I don't know who he got THAT idea?!

I hope everyone enjoyed or enjoys 27 letters it was really fantastic and the music was just perfect and the idea of the film is still amazing, the only flaw was my outfit change in the beginning. That was funny but i still love the film i hope more films turn out like this one did ;)

Yeah, well... one of us didn't really come... all my fault, cause I didn't send an email out saying that we were planning to shoot (yesterday) so...

'27 Letters'--Filming Day!

Hopefully this will be a filming day for '27 Letters'. We're planning for it to be. Actually, we will for sure film some today. Just don't know how much.

'27 Letters'--Short Film

'27 Letters' is a short film that Rustic Piano is in the process of making. I have written a reference sheet for it, and we're going to use that instead of a script (there will be no dialogue). It's handwritten so far, and I think it's going to stay that way unless I decide to type it up.
Anyways, the main storyline is two girls write letters anonymously to each other, communincating by sticking letters under the mailbox for each other. Then comes a twist when the girls finally meet.
Production start date: July 18, 2012.
Production wrap date: July 19, 2012.
I'm thinking I'm going to post this one on YouTube, if it turns out well enough.

'Apartments, Lemonade, and Babysitting' Project Completed!

We have only completed one project so far: 'Apartments, Lemonade, and Babysitting'. It's a story about a girl whose friends try to find ways to fundraise to keep her family living in her apartment.
Project start date: July 2, 2012.
Project wrap date: July 5, 2012.
Premiere date: July 10, 2012.
